Joshua Thomas Cook - he's here!

Ok, so life has not slowed down nor have we found a routine (although lack of a routine can be routine, right?). And I think I am going to feel good about just getting a post or two up each month...maybe more often if I get so inspired...or find the time!

So Joshua Thomas Cook was born on Dec 30th at 2:18 pm and he weighed in at 8 lbs 12 oz and was 21 inches long. He has continued to grow and I am sure that won't stop anytime soon with the way this boy can eat. We had a check up this past week (when he was 3 weeks old and he was up to 9 lbs 12 oz already).

Gregory is adapting well to being a big brother and is quick to help put a pacifier in Joshua's mouth to silence the screaming. He is constantly kissing on Joshua and loving on him.

It was so wonderful to have Tom off of work for almost three weeks...he was a great help as we made this big adjustment from a family of three to a family of four.

And then when Joshua was a week and one day old he had his first out of town visitors...my parents came for a few days and they got to spoil the two boys. Gregory especially loved playing with his grandpa and loved being spoiled by Grandma Judy too.
