Youth Retreat & Blizzard

This past month Tom coordinated our church youth group's winter retreat...it almost didn't happen...due to the crazy weather we've been having. Thankfully it was just delayed by a day and then they came back a day later since the students were out of school for Spring Break.

Tom organized the game time as usual and then also kept things running smoothly. He even filled in at the last minute for our youth pastor to lead the youth in a communion service. Another successful event for him...so proud of his organizational skills as well as the leader that he is to so many of our youth.

There are pictures at our shutterfly page...see the right side of this page for the link.

Disney on Ice

This year we went to Disney on Ice for the second year in a row. Gregory LOVES anything Disney, so this was part of his birthday present and part of my birthday present (I love to watch ice skating). We missed out on going to opening night so we opted to go Saturday afternoon with my sister and her family. It was an event to remember! Not just because of the characters, or because my sister was with us, but more so because Tom and I got puked on by the girl behind us. I felt so bad for them and we got a chuckle out of getting spewed on, yeah it was gross, but stuff happens. Joshua slept through the entire show as well as all the excitement.

Here are a couple of photos from the show...more at http://tomandroxannecook.shutterfly.com/

Couponing

Here's a photo of Gregory learning how to sort coupons like his momma :-)

Trip to the zoo

A couple of weeks ago we had some wonderful weather (and it has continued with a couple of snow storms in between)...so we trekked out to the zoo. This was the first time I was there and not pregnant (we went twice when I was pregnant). Oh what a joy it was to be able to enjoy "hiking" around the zoo. Our zoo is up on the side of a mountain, so it's not a leisurely stroll. Joshua did wonderful in his stroller and Gregory loved to get to walk around all by himself. Here are a couple of my favorite photos from the day...there are more photos at http://tomandroxannecook.shutterfly.com/

Joshua's two months old already

Yes, time does fly when you are busy with a newborn and an almost three year old...

This week Joshua turned 2 months old and we are looking forward to next month when Gregory turns THREE! I don't wonder where the time went...we've been busy (especially keeping up with Gregory).

The other day Joshua had his two month check up and vaccines. He did really well...just a little bit of screaming--he screams more for no reason than when he has reason...crazy. He weighed in at 12 lbs 3 oz which is the 50 - 75th percentile in case you are wondering.

Here's a two month shot of Joshua and a two month shot of Gregory...for a comparison.
