MOPS craft

Today everyone LOVED the MOPS craft...me included. They turned out so awesome! They were domino pendants and here's what they look like. And here's a link to some instructions too... http://www.theenchantedgallery.com/dominoes.html

It's been a week :-)

Well it's been a week since I've blogged, so I feel obligated to my many readers to post something :-) Not too much has been going on here (or so it seems). Tom's been busy working on school work and I've been busy, just busy with little stuff I guess. I've had a MOPS Steering Committee meeting (where I was asked to be the Coordinator for our MOPS group next year--so we'll see)...I've baby sat a couple of times (once here at the house and the other time at the church--for the pastor's kids)...of course there's been church in there a couple of times and then we enjoyed a family day last Monday since Tom was off work.

Today Gregory and I went to a place called Pump It Up...it's an inflatable play area and it's free for kids under 2. He was a bit timid at the beginning--the inflatables are pretty huge! But by the end I was dragging him out of the place. We met three other mom's (with their kids) there today and hope to try it out again next week maybe. This time I'll try to remember my camera--yeah I forgot it today. Sorry grandmas!

Since I forgot my camera I'll post a couple of videos which are from a little bit ago...The first video is of Gregory feeding himself. Ever since we were in Minnesota (around his cousins) Gregory has been determined to feed himself. We liked this influence from his cousins--maybe they could influence him in some other ways if they were around each other more (like getting Gregory potty trained--we're not starting that yet, but we're moving towards that direction).

The other video is of Gregory dancing! He doesn't stand still when he hears music very often and here's little shot of him moving to the beat.

Catching up

Well, we've been back from Texas for a little bit and if you've been following me on Facebook you know about the biggest part of our trip was on the way back when I realized I forgot the laptop cord at the hotel in Amarillo. That issue has since been resolved. Tom has been studying and enjoying it (I'm sure this will wear off soon) :-) Gregory and I have been enjoying having Tom around a bit more since he had a few extra days off due to being sick (flu stuff). I got to go to MOPS last Friday! I realized there how much I missed not being there for the Christmas Tea and how much I missed gathering with other women with which I have things in common.

Here are a couple special pictures from our time at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU).

The mascot for SAGU is the Lion and in the gym there is a large lion in the center of the court...Gregory loved to run around on it! Here he is (very tiny--so I could get in the whole word "LIONS").
